Hi, I’m Wenmin.
Hard to believe that just a year ago, I was a full‑time corporate dweller coaching other corporate dwellers. I collected degrees and certificates like Pokémon cards. I took pride in my ability to think clearly and lead with charisma — you know, all those “career superpowers” LinkedIn loves to hype.
And then I became a mom.
I thought I knew myself before motherhood. I thought having a baby would just make me… busier. Oh, the confidence. Oh, the ignorance.
Yes, there have been diapers, sleepless nights (so many… too many), endless feedings, and laundry that multiplies like it’s trying to win an award. But the real shift is deeper. It’s in who I am now. In my relationship with my husband. In the primal fears that don’t respond to logic. In the things that once felt important but now seem hilariously trivial. Motherhood didn’t just knock me off balance — it spun me around, blindfolded me, and sent me out into the world with a baby attached to my chest.
If you’re in a similar place, hear me out: please don’t do this alone. Motherhood was never meant to be a solo mission. Just like we needed work-besties to survive corporate nonsense, we now need mom-besties and a new “water-cooler” where we can vent, laugh, cry, and make sense of this wild transformation.
Becoming a mother is the biggest biosocial transition an adult can go through. Only recently has the concept of matrescence — the process of becoming a mother — started getting the attention it deserves. We’re not crazy. We’re not overreacting. We’re not “just hormonal” (okay, sometimes we are, but that doesn’t invalidate our experience). We are transforming into the bearers and guardians of new life. That’s big. That’s profound. That’s allowed to feel overwhelming.
I want to create a space for women in this season of life — a place to reconnect with themselves, reclaim their stories, and feel less alone in the beautiful, messy becoming of motherhood.
My Qualification
I’ve moved through many fields — science, academia, startups, tech, coaching — and each one has shaped how I hold space for others. What stayed with me through every chapter is a deep, steady compassion for people and an instinct for hearing the story beneath the surface. I’m always listening for the quiet truths hiding under the “I feel stuck,” because that’s where real change begins.
Certified Coach
I’m trained in executive coaching and have gathered experience supporting women in tech leadership — holding space for their growth, their challenges, and their inner wisdom. Now, I’m bringing those same skills, insights, and deep care into the tender transition of early motherhood. This work is my way of supporting women as they navigate one of the most profound transformations of their lives.
Research Oriented
It’s not just about talking things through. In those early, stormy months of motherhood, we need grounding perspectives — the kind backed by real research, real data, and real facts. A big part of my work is diving into the science of the transition into motherhood and translating it into usable insights. I sift through the studies so you don’t have to.
